Taunton & District
Civic Society is a charity that preserves and influences
future & old built environments but needed to revamp
it's image and increase it's membership through publicity
and new member services. As part of the undertaking,
a full ongoing web site library and society picture
gallery were provided along with an exclusive members
area to be launched in the near future. Stationary, promotional
print material and other related designs were also
provided. Research into
the organizations industry, topical references and
subjects of interest were made, along with the provision
of the organization's web and email setup and configuration.
Electronic conversion of old documents and pictures are prepared
and then catalogued on to their web site.

The society committee
had over 29 logo designs to choose from and after adaptation
and deliberation the logo to the left was created. The
church tower in the centre represents a local Taunton
landmark known as St Mary's of Magdalene and the trees
and houses represents the community and built
environment. A slogan was created to reinforce the
organizations philosophy's.

This part animated web site is one of
our biggest projects to date and is an ongoing process.

The society's corporate identity was
reinforced with a distinctive letterhead and was
supplied to them as one of our e-template's for
Microsoft Word. The society now print's it's letterhead
on demand cutting down printing costs.

To promote the launch of the
societies web site invitations were sent to VIP's and
the press. Using familiar photographic landmarks and
scenes, this invitation was provided in a PDF format,
and the society printed them in-house, where hand
folding was completed by society volunteers.

The
success of the society's web launch was backed up by our
web site bookmarks. Advertising the web address and web
contents these bookmarks are always re-ordered from us
even after any launch date. Place them on seminar
seating, in library's and many other places.
