Leadership & Development Grant & Website Funding to Help Charities & Third Sector Online Skills
Jan 2009
ADK Ltd, an Associate of Institute of Business Consulting and one of Somerset's leading independent e-business and design consultancy service providers, today announced a new and exclusive £1000 grant-funded Strategic Leadership and E-Business Development Coaching/Mentoring Service for charities, volunteer groups, non-profit and third sector organisations who wish to develop their strategic, personal and management skills in e-business, e-marketing and project planning.
In addition to this ADK Ltd is offering charities, volunteer groups, non-profit and third sector organisations the chance to claim additional funding of u to £1000 in the form of sponsorship for website design and development.
Based on years of coaching and providing e-business and web design services, the new provision aims to increase the leadership and management capabilities of organisational leaders and their senior managers or members so they can advance their charity or organisation and boost their personal development through the use of technology.
With the addition of Skills Minister Lord Young’s announcement of a £1000 Leadership and Management Advisory Service grant from Train to Gain, its clear that charities and third sector organisations throughout the South West will be able to use grants like this to access training programmes like ADK's.
"Anybody can learn functional job specific skills but our leadership development service is designed to develop the person, manager and leader. We start the process by showing how knowledge of skills can be used to develop a successful leader in any environment, whether business or e-business" said Andrew Knutt, ADK's Managing Director.
"We see many charities, organisations and individuals evaluating the effectiveness of their current approach and what we do is assist in reviewing that approach from the website, e-marketing, management, business and personal perspective. Our leadership programme is designed to understand the key opportunities and issues from a range of perspectives - customer and provider, and review the effectiveness and potential for use of e-business in charity or third sector organisations" continues Andrew.
In addition, organisational leaders and managers will learn tips and strategies to help them bring order to the chaos of running an e-business so they can get better control and gain powerful insight into simple ways to increase profits, impact and develop as effective managers.
Andrew was pleased to offer charities, volunteer groups, non-profit and third sector organisations this unique opportunity to learn from professionals commenting “Many established organisations are trying to build online capabilities and are asking some fundamental questions on the appropriateness of their business models, leadership skills, personal ambitions and the performance of their websites in this collaborative, technological world. This raises challenges as to what can be done to increase their game, processes and knowledge needed for a successful online presence and charity or third sector organisation”.
